Why do I write romance?
As a romance writer, I’m expected by everyone to know all about love, but I don’t. Now, I know I love chocolate, babies, kittens, and puppies, but there is a deeper love that most people think I have a handle on, and that’s not the case.
The Professor and I met in high school when we were fifteen. He was tall, had dark hair, and was a jock. My little heart went pitter patter when he walked by. He smiled at me and his brown eyes made my insides melt. I didn’t know what was happening to me, did I mention I was fifteen, but I knew I liked the feeling. I was always getting into trouble in class because he’d make me laugh out loud, but he always had a straight face. Yes I was the giggly girl and he was the hunky jock.
Through the years we’ve had our fair share of ups and downs, but we were determined to get through the bad times the same way we got through the good times. Together and laughing all the way.
Now forty years later he still is tall, his hair is streaked with silver and he’s still a jock. When he looks at me my insides still melt and I still like the feelings that stir deep inside me. He still cracks me up all the time. And yes I’m still the giggle girl and he is still the delectable jock.
Now you know why I write romance. To capture those feeling that I can’t really be defined and share them with my readers. I love sexy, well-crafted stories of lust and love. My sensuous style drives the characters into lustful romps. When I’m not crafting erotic romantic stories, I can be found crocheting or making jewelry.
My new release Red Hot is part of the Candy Hearts series and is available for preorder.
I love to hear from my readers.
I hope you enjoy my other books too: Hell’s Bounty, and Timeless Passion, published by The Wild Rose Press. I’m a member of Romance Writers of America, Toronto Romance Writers, and Writing Community of Durham Region.
