Welcome to ABA’s First Stop on our
Haunting Halloween Hop
I love this season: crisp fall air, corn mazes, roaring fire-pits, a beautifully painted canvas of autumn leaves, football and especially Halloween. I’ve never been fond of horror movies. They seem to slither into my dreams and, for me, that’s too creepy.
But I love eerie stories that sweep you away to another time or place, and just when you think you have them figured out, a curveball spirals into an unforgettable twist ending. Those are the stories that stay with you long after they end … and simply take your breath away. Not with fear, but with a warm excitement and happy tears. My Destiny Series has FIVE tales just like that, short, spooky, and perfect Halloween reads!

Will the three survive a confrontation with pure evil in order to meet their Destiny?

Thanks for participating in the hop!
I love Halloween too but I am a lover of horror films
Thanks for organizing this awesome blog hop, Casi! I’m loving reading everyone’s posts.
Thank You…You helped make this, Anna… I’m thrilled to have you a part of ABA!
I loved your Destiny series. The perfect amount of eeriness to keep me glued to the stories. As far as scary movies, I love them, even though they scare me stupid.
Hey Devon. So glad you joined ABA’s Haunting Halloween Hop and I’m thrilled you loved my Destiny series!! Thanks so much!
Love the covers of your Destiny series! Not a fan of hauntings, but like the treats, lol.
Me too…And thanks. I designed all the covers! Happy Halloween!!!
Your Destiny series sounds brilliant, Casi. I love Autumn, the coloured leave making a carpet on the grounds, blackberries to be picked for pies and crumbles – flocks of birds gathering on the telegraph lines as they prepare to migrate, and golden sunsets.
I don’t mind scary movies, althogh I find the more subtle they are the scarier, I don’t go much for blood and gore. Here in the UK, Halloween was not as big as it is in the U.S. Kids would dress up and go out ‘Trick or Treating’ but there wasn’t so much in the shops – now it’s startng to be big business and the shops are full of Halloween costumes and Trick or Treat goodies.
Wow, what a beautiful description. Yes, it’s the blood and guts that get me…and the psychopath killer stuff…ugh. It is a fun time of the year though. Happy Halloween!
I’m not fond of spooky things, ghouls, witches, vampires, and especially horror films. Everyone know that I like the sweet stuff about Halloween–candy! Your Destiny series sounds perfect for Halloween reading.
It is a sweet, kinda eerie tale, but with a wonderful twist end. I hope you read it and let me know what you think. 🙂 Happy Halloween!!
Can’t wait to read the first installment of your Destiny series–sounds like just the the right read for Halloween!
It is! I hope you love it. Please let me know. 🙂 Happy Halloween!
Hey Casi – I AM One of those people who like scary movies – the scary-er the better!! And it doesn’t even have to be blood and gory scary. Sometimes the scariest movies – like the scariest books – allow you to use your imagination about what’s behind that door…..
That’s exactly what I don’t like. LOL. Imagination can be scarier than vivid pictures. I know some people absolutely love those gotcha moments. I prefer the eerie tales and old movies. Black and white doesn’t show blood!
Hey Casi, I share you love of Halloween. But the horror movies leave me turning on every light in the house and a sleepless night. I love the ghost stories told around a campfire and enjoy Halloween tales. I have a huge collections of Halloween stories that I add to and reread every year. Not to mention decorating my house complete with graveyard. Anyway, I already subscribe to your newsletter so how about a entry for The Gift? I love Christmas stories too, just not the commercialization of the holiday. Happy Halloween. Loving the blog hop! Off I go to the next stop!
You’ve got it! Halloween conjures so many images in our minds. I just love this time of year!! Thanks, Tena
I love eerie movies and books. Paranormal tales are my favorite. And Halloween is my favorite time of the year. 🙂 Hope you have a wonderful Halloween!
What a great time of year! Thanks so much for stopping by our Haunting Halloween Hop. I hope you win a pumpkin full of prizes!
I’ve never loved spooky movies either, Casi. The Destiny Series looks great! Happy Halloween 🙂
Thanks, K.K. So glad you joined the hop!
