My roller coaster ride yesterday consisted of talking with web designers, production specialists, printers, copyright officials, and pulling together social media and technology details for upcoming engagements. The book business for me has been initiation by fire”“with two feet firmly planted in free-fall. It’s been learn as I go, but it’s an amazing ride. I recently wrote a “Pocket Guide to Players & Jerks” which I plan to give away as a gift at some of my scheduled book signings, but I wanted to get it copyrighted, so I had to figure out how to copyright paperwork. It wasn’t as difficult as I had anticipated. After I Googled to find my way, I went to the official website, http://www.copyright.gov   Then clicked on the ECO (electronic copyright office.) They have an easy tutorial and it only cost me $35.00. If you’d rather do it all by hand, I’ve attached a video above to walk you through the process. Finding a printer was a bit more daunting. There are tons of them, and they all have a wide range of pricing and options. I had to do my homework to find one that would suit my needs and budget. But now it’s done. One more item I can check off of my list! Yea!!! Hop aboard my roller coaster and join the ride. There’s lots more to come. Casi
